Atami/Tanna/TannaGlory

Sandwiched between Sagami Bay and Suruga Bay, Atami Pass is a pass where the wind blows in from both bays with different humidity and temperature. Tanna Glory is a huge wall of clouds formed while the winds maintain their balance. When it comes to giants, it stretches over 20 kilometers from Mt. Hakone in the north to Mt. Amagi in the south! The height will be a wall of clouds as high as 1600m above sea level. Those who see it for the first time may even feel fear at its power. However, since the clouds form stably, there is no major turbulence in the air currents and you can fly safely.

Tanna glory is a phenomenon that occurs due to the coincidence of several meteorological conditions. There is an area in Panorama Park of Izu Nagaoka Onsen. Take the ropeway and arrive at the takeoff in 5 minutes on foot from the summit station building. The scenery that spreads out from the Tagata plain is a panoramic area where you can see Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, Hakone, and Mt. Amagi 360 degrees.
